THE first step to renovate a disused tunnel which 9,000 people will use to walk or cycle to work has been completed.
Backhill Tunnel, which links Milton Park and the A4130 in Didcot, was reopened by Didcot and Wantage MP Ed Vaizey. It is now lit for cyclists and pedestrians and allows better access to the Milton Marriott hotel.
