ENTOMOLOGIST and explorer Dr George McGavin is to give a talk about his travels later this month.
A regular presenter with BBC’s The One Show, Dr McGavin will be at St Mary’s Church, Long Wittenham, near Didcot, on Saturday, November 18 from 7.30pm.
Dr McGavin is an author, lecturer, TV presenter and explorer.
He is an honorary research associate at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History and The Department of Zoology of Oxford University.
He is also a Fellow of the Linnean Society and the Royal Geographical Society, and has several insect species named in his honour.
