A FEMINIST historian will give the Barbara Castle Lecture at Wadham College on Thursday in a free event.
Laura Schwartz will be speaking from 8pm.
Barbara Castle was one of the most prominent Labour Party politicians of the 20th century and served as employment secretary, health and social services secretary and first secretary of state under Harold Wilson.
She attended St Hugh's College and served as MP for Blackburn between 1945 and 1979. She died in 2002, aged 91.
