A PRIMARY school in Abingdon wants to extend its age range.
Oxfordshire County Council is consulting on plans to accept two-year-olds at Dunmore Primary School’s nursery.
It currently only takes children as young as three, although in September started to provide morning-only care for two-year-olds.
Documents published by the council said it wishes to establish formal provision to ‘plug gaps’ in early years provision, adding: “In Abingdon 88 places for funded two-year-olds are needed, but only 70 are available.”
