POLICE warned residents in Kidlington to be on their guard against pickpockets after a shopper had personal belongings stolen from a handbag.
A spokesman for the force said the theft happened on Wednesday between 4pm and 5pm,
He added: “We would like to issue a gentle reminder to keep bags and handbags zipped up when not in use.
“If you feel someone bump into you, check you have your phone, purse and wallet.”
