BAKERY Le Pain Quotidien is to open at the Westgate Centre in Oxford, creating more than 30 jobs.
It will be one of about 25 new restaurants opening at the new £440m Westgate Centre, which is launched on October 24.
Le Pain Quotidien, which has over 250 restaurants worldwide, will be investing £1m to create the restaurant, the second in Oxfordshire following the first at Bicester Village.
The new Belgian eatery at Westgate will have 111 seats inside and outside and will be situated near the John Lewis department store.
UK managing director Peter Jenkins said: “Oxford is the next natural location for Le Pain Quotidien.
“This investment outside the capital reflects our confidence that the brand, ethos, values and fabulous menu will be enjoyed by the people of Oxford.”
