MAJOR organisations have been approached ahead of an imminent planning application on the £120m Oxford Flood Relief Channel.
Bodies such as Highways England, Oxfordshire County Council, the British Horse Society and Natural England have all been asked to comment on the scheme.
The groups will be asked for their opinions on proposed construction methods for the channel which begins at Seacourt Park and Ride just metres from the A34.
The four-mile channel - to carry water away from Oxford - could be built by 2021.
