AN arts charity in Sutton Courtenay has set out a traffic plan ahead of its extension.

Building works are due to begin on Matrix Arts Centre, to create a main hall and two classrooms plus an extension to provide a classroom and waiting room.

In a letter to Vale of White Horse District Council, it said: “We have arranged for all deliveries to come from the south, using the road to Hillyard Barns and then through the field that borders our land.

“The majority of the works will be completed whilst Matrix Arts Centre is closed for the summer.

“When activities start again in September the builders will use mainly the field entrance, easing any potential parking problems in The Nursery.

“We are confident that the High Street will not be affected and the residents of, and businesses in The Nursery should not be troubled by our construction traffic.”
