SUPPLIES of temporary accommodation for homeless families over the next five years will be examined by councillors tonight.
Vale of White Horse District Council’s scrutiny committee will go through the current provision plan at a meeting this evening at 135 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park.
The council currently owns 19 ‘units of temporary accommodation’ – three houses in Abingdon, a six bed hostel – Tiverton House in Wantage, and a ten bed hostel – Elmside in Faringdon.
Councillors will also examine the latest general housing strategy for the district.
The meeting starts at 7pm and members of public are welcome to attend.
