COUNCIL housing bosses will give an update on the tower block refurbishment project to a scrutiny panel.

The city council’s top housing officials have been ordered to give its housing scrutiny panel an update on plans to revamp Oxford’s five tower blocks.

The team will review the ongoing work to Evenlode, Windrush and Hockmore towers and particular the communications between the contractor, the city council and the tenants.

Their report will contain any safety concerns or issues raised by residents during the project so far.

The update will be given at a meeting of the city’s housing panel on Thursday at 5pm at Town Hall.
