A FILM screening in Abingdon will explore inequalities in the modern Western world.
Abingdon Quakers will show an award-winning documentary film called The Divide, which highlights the gap between rich and poor in a world of capitalism.
Inspired by a book called The Spirit Level, the 2015 release shows real-life examples of societal inequalities in the UK and USA.
The film will start on Thursday at 7.30pm, at Abingdon Health and Wellbeing Centre.
It will be introduced by Martin Wilkinson, who is both a trustee of the Equality Trust and brother of the book’s co-author.
He will take questions after the screening.
Entry is free but there is a suggested £5 donation towards costs.
