BOOK fans across Oxfordshire are being urged to support independent bookshops from tomorrow.
There will be a series of events at bookstores from tomorrow until Saturday to celebrate Independent Bookshop Week.
Among authors backing the annual celebration is Oxford author Philip Pullman.
Later this year Mr Pullman’s The Book of Dust will be published, which features characters who appeared in the His Dark Materials trilogy.
Crime writers Mark Billingham and Ian Rankin are also supporting the initiative.
