MAYORS in West Oxfordshire have penned letters to the Lord Mayor of Manchester to express their condolences following the terror attack at pop concert in the city.
Chris Woodward, mayor of Witney, and Trish Redpath, mayor of Woodstock, wrote the letters let the Lord Mayor know the people of Manchester were in their thoughts.
Mr Woodward wrote: “We stand with your community as family, and offer you peace and our strength at this difficult time.”
The letters were in reference to the bombing, which killed 22 people, including children, and injured scores more in Manchester Arena on Monday, May 22.
