A COUNCIL has voted in a new chairman.
Reg Waite, who represents Blewbury and Harwell, is now chair of Vale of White Horse District Council.
Members of the council voted him in at a meeting on Wednesday evening, to take over from Mike Badcock.
Mr Badcock, who served in the position since 2013, said he had visited 418 community events in his role as chairman and raised £16,000 for various charities.
Mr Waite was previously vice chairman.
