A POLITICAL tragedy will be performed ‘on stage’ in Abingdon.

The Amey Theatre will screen Julias Caesar as it is acted out live by the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Audiences can fill the theatre at Abingdon School on Wednesday for the screening, which starts at 7pm.

It will retell Shakespeare’s classic play about a conspiracy against one of Rome’s most historic figures.

Tickets can be bought by visiting abingdonschool.savoysystems.co.uk.

The same theatre will also screen RSC’s Anthony and Cleopatra on May 24.
