COUNCILLORS have urged Marcham residents to have their say on proposals for 520 new homes.
Vale of White Horse District Council has outlined several potential sites in the village to take on the housing, as part of its draft Local Plan Part 2.
The development blueprint sets out preferred options to deliver housing, with Marcham one of the location options alongside others including Shippon.
Marcham Parish Council is opposing the planned homes, noting that hundreds have already been built or are in the process of being built in the village.
A post on its website raises concerns with pollution and school space, adding: “We urge all residents to respond to the plan.”
Consultation ends at 5pm on May 4, available via whitehorsedc.gov.uk/lpp2.
