WELL-KNOWN author Shrabani Basu is to give a talk about a book being adapted for a movie about Queen Victoria.
The talk, entitled Queen Victoria and Abdul, will take place at the Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum in Park Street, Woodstock, on Wednesday, at 7pm.
Ms Basu’s book about the Queen and Indian attendant Abdul Karim, is being turned into film, with Dame Judi Dench as Queen Victoria.
The £10 talk is open to the public and doors will open from 6.45pm.
