AN Abingdon group will screen a film that swept up at the Oscar’s this year.
ABCD Film Society has extended its programme especially to show Moonlight, which beat La La Land to win best picture at the glitzy film awards among other accolades.
Committee member Mike Bloom said: “The season was due to end on March 29, but when we got the chance to book Moonlight so soon after its first run, we went for it.”
The screening is on April 6 at the Health and Wellbeing Centre in Audlett Drive at 7.45pm. Tickets are available via 01235 521976 or info@abfilms.org.uk.
