THE PIONEERING work of a Scottish psychiatrist which made worldwide headlines will hit a big screen in East Oxford.
The Ultimate Picture Palace has revealed it will host its special screening of Mad To Be Normal, starring former Doctor Who star David Tennant, at its Jeune street base.
The film, which closed this year’s Glasgow Film Festival, tells the tale of R.D. Laing and his infamous anti-psychiatry experiment.
Movie lovers will have the chance to quiz director Robert Mullan, along with cast members Tom Richards and James Utechin, after the screening on April 12.
