A BURGLAR dropped the money he was trying to steal as he fled from a property after being caught in the act.
Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Rogers Street, Summertown, Oxford on Sunday at about 9.30pm.
Officers said a burglar broke in through an unlocked ground-floor window before being disturbed by the resident of the home.
They added cash was stolen but that the burglar dropped it as he ran away.
