GROVE Parish Council is hunting for new burial grounds.
Councillors are specifically searching for cemetery space to accommodate the new 456 homes currently going up on the Monks Farm site north of the village.
At a meeting this month, the council clerk advised council that Grove Cemetery on Denchworth Road is approximately 1.34 acres and on current calculations will be fully occupied in 11-and-a-half years.
He said there is a 'lack of potential for current cemetery expansion'.
The hunt continues.
