A PUBLIC footpath in Harwell near Didcot will be closed on a temporary basis as construction work is completed on new homes.
A 180-metre stretch of the Harwell public footpath off Grove Road will be shut for about six months from Monday, February 6.
The emergency services have been told they are exempt from the restrictions and people in the village are being told they should use the Grove Road footpath instead while the restrictions remain in place.
Residents have been warned by the county council that the closure will continue for a maximum of six months.
