PEOPLE are being urged to join a demonstration on Abingdon Bridge tomorrow, on the morning of Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 45th President of the United States.
Campaigners will join thousands of others across the UK at 10am to promote the concept of building ‘Bridges Not Walls’.
Emma Beacham, of the town’s #MoreinCommon group, said: “We have seen a rise in hatred and division in our society, and it’s vital that we all stand together to reject those who call on us to build walls between us.”
