THE Bishop of Oxford, the Rt Rev Dr Steven Croft, will today take part in a procession through the city.
Rt Rev Croft formally became Bishop at a ceremony conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury at Lambeth Palace in July.
At 2.15pm a service at Christ Church Cathedral will mark the beginning of his ministry as the 43rd Bishop of Oxford, in charge of the Oxford Diocese covering Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
The Bishop said: “I am looking forward very much indeed to the beginning of my public ministry across the Diocese of Oxford.”
