ITS that time of the year again - where millions of smokers are challenged to quit the habit for a whole month.
Stoptober - a mass 28-day quitting challenge from Public Health England begins on Saturday, October 1.
Smokers around Oxfordshire are being challenged to join the nearly 15 million people who have already quit smoking.
Last year, out of the 2.5 million smokers who made a quit attempt across the UK 500,000 people were successful.
Free information sessions are being held at community centres across the city at Rose Hill, Barton and Blackbird Leys throughout the month.
