HANNEY War Memorial Hall in East Hanney has been shortlisted in a competition to win £12,000 for a solar rooftop.
The project, to install a 10kW solar photovoltaic array on the south-facing roof, has been nominated in the M&S Energy Fund contest.
If successful the hall will be able to achieve a "significant" reduction in its energy bill.
Members of public can vote for the project online at mandsenergyfund.com/projects/hanney-hall-wants-solar until October 10.
