A NEW exhibition is to be staged at Oxford University's Bodleian Library to focus on its first female librarians.
Progressive steps: a recognition of early women at the Bodleian will remember the library's first permanent female librarian Frances Underhill.
The exhibition, which also looks at the work of staff around the time of the First World War, will be held at the Proscholium, and will run from Saturday until Sunday, October 23.
