A COMMUNITY group in North Oxford has been chosen for an award by supermarket chain Sainsbury’s.
Cutteslowe Community Association was named Local Charity of the Year, after being nominated by Sean Kennedy, manager of the Sainsbury’s Local in Summertown.
The award aims to recognise groups “at the heart of the local community”.
Now it has been declared the winner, the charity will receive support through fundraising and promotion from the store.
