PEOPLE in Yarnton have been warned to be vigilant against on-line and telephone scams by the village's Neighbourhood Watch group.
NHW co-ordinator, and parish council chairman Fred Jones wrote in the Yarnton News that the scams could cover a range of topics such as tax rebates, football tickets and job offers.
He also warned people to keep their ground floor windows and doors secure to deter burglars, even during hot weather.
