AN HISTORIC pub which dates back to the 13th century is on the market for the first time in 30 years - but you'll need at least £1 million to be in with a chance of owning it.
The Jersey Arms in Middleton Stoney near Bicester is up for sale, including the inn's bar, selection of bedrooms and popular restaurant.
The sale is being co-ordinated by Colliers International, but it has said it is looking for offers above a million pounds for the freehold.
Director Peter Brunt said: "Enjoying a fabulous country location to the west of Bicester and handy for the M40 motorway, the Jersey Arms is perfectly placed for visitors heading for the Cotswolds or shoppers ready for a rest after a day at the world famous shopping outlet.
"With 20 bedrooms this works perfectly well, but there is clearly an opportunity to drive much more food and beverage trade through the delightful public rooms.
"Whichever style of business an operator prefers however, the location is perfect."
The two-storey inn also features an eye-catching fireplace in the bar area, with 20 bedrooms and a restaurant that can sit up to 40 guests.
