Oxford's twin cities have been reassured they will always be welcome in the city following Britain's decision to leave the EU.

City council leader Bob Price has written to his counterparts in Grenoble, Leiden and Bonn reminding them Oxford voted overwhelmingly to remain and that the links would stay as strong as ever.

Less than two weeks after the EU referendum result a Dutch brass band from Leiden marched through the streets of the city to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the twinning.
