THE FIRST Leys Festival and Horticultural Show was a "great community event" and full attendance figures will be ready soon, an Oxford City Council officer has said.
Speaking at a meeting of Blackbird Leys Parish Council on Tuesday night, community development officer Val Churchill said she had seen several generations of the same families at the event on Saturday, July 2 and activities had been kept affordable.
New faces including a staff member of TRAX, an Oxford charity supporting young people, have joined the steering group for 2017.
