A STREET picnic set to take over an East Oxford road will bring families together next month.
The Divinity Road Area Residents' Association has revealed it will unite residents in the area with a street party in Minster Road on July 9.
Its Meal in the Street event will see families bring a dish to the summer event, which will be shared with all guests.
The festivities, which start at 5pm, will feature the toe-tapping charm of local performers, as well as a puppet theatre for the youngsters.
A firework display will cap off the evening before the street reopens at midnight.
