APPRENTICES from across the county are hitting the road to pass on information and advice about courses, including a visit to Banbury on Saturday.

The Oxfordshire Apprenticeships Team are calling at different locations over five days to give support to anyone wanting to know more about apprenticeships.

On Saturday the team will be calling at the Castle Quay shopping centre from 10am to 4pm.

Apprenticeship ambassadors will be on hand to discuss what life is like as an apprentice and how people can get started.

One of them, 19-year-old Emma Farrow, is a legal apprentice with Brethertons LLP in Banbury and is currently working towards a CILEx (Chartered Institute of Legal Executives) Level 3 Litigation Apprenticeship.

Ms Farrow, who will be on hand on Saturday, said: "I'm coming along to the roadshow to help promote apprenticeships in my area and to try and enlighten others, particularly those who are about to leave school.

"Apprenticeships are a great alternative route into your chosen career."
