A MAGAZINE written, edited and designed by pupils at Headington School has won the top prize in a national award.
The Aqila magazine has a strong focus on women's rights and was nominated in seven categories at the Shine Media Awards.
At a ceremony in London on June 21 five girls from the team were presented with the prizes for best overall editorial content and best magazine 2016.
The publication was also highly commended in three categories and pupil Caitlin Burns was presented with a special award from the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) for her editorial work on the project.
