A NUMBER of artists due to appear at this year’s Towersey Festival are featured on a new 18-track compilation.
Available as a free download, the 75-minute album, entitled Towersey Festival 2016, features an array of rarities, album tracks, singles and exclusives.
Among the contributing artists are The Young'uns, winners of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards Best Group category for two consecutive years along with Folk Award 2016 nominees Lynched, and Damien O'Kane.
They are joined by chart-topping acoustic duo Nizlopi, Nancy Kerr and James Fagan, and India Electric Co.
The festival at Thame Showground in Kingsey Road runs from Friday, August 26 to Monday, August 29.
The album is available now as a free, or pay-what-you-want download via the festival website towerseyfestival.com/album2016
