A BURGLAR walked in through the front door of a house in East Oxford and stole a handbag from the front hall.
Thames Valley Police said the burglar got into the house in Alma Place between 1.30pm and 3.15pm on Saturday.
It said the front door had been left unsecure, and the handbag contained a mobile, bank cards, cash, keys and personal documents.
