A crafty burglar used tools to steal a mobile phone which was perched on a window sill in Canterbury Road.
On Friday, June 24 between 10am and 2pm, a thief reached in through an insecure ground floor window and used a tool to steal the phone.
Police are urging residents to keep their windows and doors locked.
