KENNINGTON residents are urged to join this year's village garden competition for a chance to win the Dr Geoffrey Blackman Cup.
Gardeners can enter their patch of green in one of three categories: front garden, basket or container, and business premises.
Entry forms will be made available on the parish council notice board in the village hall or by telephoning the parish clerk on 01865 421126.
Forms must be returned to by July 10 and judging will take place on Saturday, July 16.
