HIGH-TECH entrepreneurs will show off their latest innovations in a bid to attract funders at a business show in Oxford.

This year's Venturefest Oxford will see 13 businesses, including a company developing high-performance electric motorcycles, vie for the attention of potential investors.

The firms will show off their stuff at the King's Centre in Osney Mead, West Oxford, on Wednesday, June 29.

Venturefest Oxford is now in its 18th year and companies taking part will include start-ups which previously took part in Pitchfest – Venturefest Oxford’s twice yearly Dragons' Den-style event at which entrepreneurs pitch for funding from local investors.

One of the exhibitors will be Meteor Power, a firm developing high-performance electric motorcycles and motors.

Executive chairwoman at Venturefest Oxford Lynn Shepherd, said: "The innovation showcase is a very exciting and inspiring part of Venturefest and we are all looking forward to seeing what the great pioneering minds of Oxfordshire have on offer.

"Even though I have already met many of this year’s participants, it will be great to see how much the businesses have grown and developed since they first took part at Pitchfest."
