WORK on 10 new parking spaces on former grass verges in Blackbird Leys is due to start after the Bank Holiday.
Fencing has been set up in the affected area of Jasmine Close and construction will begin on Wednesday, June 1.
Oxford City Council approved a planning application for the new parking bays - as well as a set in Blackbird Leys Road - using money from the Great Estates programme after being made aware of a serious shortage of parking bays on the estate last year.
