Police have reopened a road in Abingdon where a schoolgirl was killed this morning.
Colwell Drive was closed at 8.30am as police launched an investigation after a cyclist and coach were involved in an accident.
The cyclist, a 17-year-old girl who was a pupil at Larkmead School, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident happened between 8.15am and 8.30am just outside McDonald’s and Abingdon police station in Colwell Drive.
The teenager was involved in a collision with an orange Tappins coach, which was carrying pupils to Abingdon Boys' School.
