Children proudly show off their needlework
THESE young ladies had good reason to be proud of themselves.
Barton County Junior School in Oxford held its annual needlework exhibition and these were some of the examples on show in 1958.
The pupils are, left to right, Paula Washington, Valerie Mahon, Jean Holden, Joan Cassidy and Jean Smith.
The Oxford Mail published the picture under the headline, ‘Proud young needlework exhibitors’.
