In reply to Anthony Roland Clent’s letter, What happened to the ‘Swan Boats’? (Memory Lane, August 24), I enclose a photograph of my dad, Peter Horwood, who grew up in Marlborough Road, Oxford.
He is pictured in one of the Swan Boats on Hinksey boating lake, with the other Swan Boat in the background.
The picture was probably taken in the early 1950s.
