Staff at Pressed Steel mark a colleague's farewell
STAFF at Pressed Steel at Cowley gathered round to say farewell to a colleague.
We don’t know the name of the departing or retiring worker, but the man making the presentation was foreman Joe Hutchinson.
The picture comes from Jim Tanner, of Cowley Road, Littlemore, who worked at the plant for 43 years and is standing third from the right.
Other people in the picture include Ron Cox, Fred Kimber, George Lee, Bill Roche, Alan Hicks, Arthur Stratford, Harry Jackson and Fred Carter.
