A 17--YEAR-OLD boy was beaten over the head with a wooden post and mugged in Didcot.
The teenager was walking along the footpath by Ladyground Mound when he became aware of a gang of six boys behind him.
He stopped and let them pass, but the gang waited for him around a corner, and hit him over the head with a wooden post.
They demanded money and his phone and he gave them his silver-backed Samsung.
The boys were all white teenagers, from 5ft to 5ft 10in. One of them wore a red hooded top, and another wore a baseball cap.
The attack happened on Saturday, September 22, at 8.40pm but police only released details this week.
