Sir – Congratulations The Oxford Times! I have a Jackson’s Oxford Journal from 1879; interesting to look through at the news then and compare it with now.
I went on a school trip in the mid-1960s around the printing-area in New Inn Hall Street, walking up and down the open stairs, past steaming open-topped vats of molten-lead . . . not a lot was thought of Health & Safety then! Carry on regardless, The Oxford Times.
