THEY were nearly 7,000 miles away from Bicester Village.

But it didn’t stop the Duchess of Cambridge finding a fellow outlet shopping fan to talk to in Singapore.

Kate reportedly swapped stories about Bicester Village with Sadiah Bte Shahal at Singapore’s Changi Airport on the first day of her Royal tour of the Far East.

The Duchess said she “loved” the discount shopping destination.

Sadiah Bte Shahal, the wife of government official Maliki Osman, told a national newspaper: “We talked about the UK and particularly about shopping at Bicester.

“I said ‘I’ve been there and I love it’ and she said she does as well.

“She said it’s great how everything is so contained.”

Kate, pictured during her visit to Singapore, was also said to have bought a blue coat dress at the Missoni outlet shop in the village earlier this year.

Last week Bicester Village revealed visitor numbers are expected to rise from 5.5 million in 2011 to 5.8 million this year.

Managers were last night unavailable for comment.
