LAST minute changes have been made to parking at Art in Action after heavy rain made fields at the event unusable.
The annual event sees 25,000 visitors descend on the Waterperry Estate near Wheatley to see more than 400 artists, performers and musicians come together.
Spokesman Anna Arthur said: “There are new arrangements for all visitor parking. The fields normally used for car parking are no longer usable.”
The event starts on Thursday and runs until Sunday. Visitors will now be directed by road signs from Junction 8a of the M40 to Oakley Airfield in nearby Worminghall.
Free shuttle buses will run from the hard-standing parking available there to Wheatley throughout the day.
Visitors who would access disabled parking spaces are also asked to use the park and ride buses.
But Ms Arthur said the event would otherwise go ahead unchanged.
She added: “The site itself is in a good condition, although organisers stress that Wellington boots will be appropriate footwear.”
