WE were pleased to see an ARCh reading helper, Helen Russell, featured in the story on Oxfordshire County Council’s Reading Campaign (“We’ll Help Them Read”, Oxford Mail, July 12).
As the article states, there are more than 200 ARCh volunteers helping 600 primary school children across Oxfordshire to develop a love of reading but, of course, we need many more people to come forward to help.
ARCh provides each helper with initial and ongoing training, support and resources.
